Yorkhill Children's Foundation
Yorkhill Children’s Foundation was established in 2001 following the incorporation of Yorkhill Sick Children’s Fund which had been in existence since 1981.
Yorkhill Children's Foundation aims to provide all the 'extra' services and pieces of equipment for sick children and babies from all over Scotland who are treated within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. These can include innovative medical equipment, improvements in child and family facilities and paediatric research and training.
Scanners, incubators, ventilators, monitors and many more examples of equipment, services and research have been added to the hospital’s resources. All are at work helping to make sick kids better.
The Charity owns and operates a retail shop and tea bar under a separate company, Yorkhill Fund Trading Limited.
